Our big girl is a sweet German Shepherd who can open the gate herself if it is not fully latched, but respects the boundary when it is closed. It separates the kitchen and family area from the front door so that visitors can come in and warm up to her before she enthusiastically greets them. Occasionally she stays on the other side while we cook her favorite foods. Other than some minor issues getting it to stay wide open, we are happy with the gate.
Our Newfoundland puppy finally has a gate that she cannot demolish! And, it’s the only one I found she can’t get over. We’re thrilled with the construction and the way it works

Best gate I’ve ever bought and I’ve had at least five others. We have this at the bottom of our staircase. It was hard finding one that was the right height to use with the banister and this one is perfect. Really solid construction and metal reinforcements at joints where a dog or child could try to push in to pop open the gate. Our very large dog did that with another gate! This one also has great pads to protect walls from getting scratched. Highly recommend and I’m going to buy another.
Shipment was delayed a bit, but they let us know right away and updated us once shipped. The gate looks nice, and is tall and sturdy enough to withstand our 40 lb Labradoodle puppy leaning and jumping on it. We love how the gate stays open at the 90 degree angle, but closes automatically when we need it to.
These gates are really nicely made my dogs have not been able to penetrate them and they’re very stylish. They look great in my house. I like how you can screw them into the walls and not worry about your dogs pushing them until they fall down.
I bought this gate for my mother who has 2 wonderful and unruly dogs. When we visited her this Thanksgiving she had her home jerry-rigged to the hilt to keep them out of spaces, like the kitchen. This is exactly what she needed. Gave it to her for Christmas and she is in awe. Sturdy, easy to assemble (please read instructions- don't remove the "belt"), and fits perfectly in the wide door space to the kitchen. This is a solid 5 star rating!

We have a little Yorkie that kept climbing over the gate we had leading to the front door. We didn’t want to take any chances of her escaping.
