This gate worked out great for extra "runaway" insurance on our toddler. We have been using the gate for about 2 months now. I often have my hands full when I need to answer the door, get mail, etc. Our little guy finds any opportunity to make a run for it and this gate gives us that extra safety mechanism. It's easy to get in and out of, and still looks nice. The lexan panels are very clear and sturdy. It was easy to install and you can really knuckle down on the compression nuts to get a secure fit.

Very sturdy nice gate was easy to put up. I actually use it to keep my dog out of my elderly dad's room so he doesn't have to shut his door. Only issue is it is a little bit harder to open for my dad. I also to find it a little harder than it should be but for me but it's tolerable but not so much for him. You have to push handle and then lift up on the gate to open. Maybe that's a safety thing for kids idk but all in all great gate.
