I’ve been using it for about 10 days now and it’s been wonderful. The gate is a bit harder for me to open than I expected, but it seems to be a good locking system. I have to use the gate numerous times daily and it is holding up well. I didn’t install it, but the person that did seemed not to have any problems. So far this gate is well worth the price!!!
So much better than the screen door I was previously using in this space! The cats (on both sides) liked it immediately and are interacting much more often at the door now. Very sturdy and easy to operate when I need to go between the two areas. Far superior to the inexpensive versions on Amazon and well worth the price. I am delighted with my purchase.
This gate is fantastic. We have two kittens who are very small. The bars are close enough together to prevent them from squeezing through. I’m not very handy, but this was pretty easy to put together. It took me about 15 minutes, most of which was spent slightly adjusting the ends. This is a great product and great value. Highly recommend.
This is the third fairy gate I have purchased. They have all been great. The only reason for replacing the gates 3 times is because I have a 152 pound Rottie that gets over excited sometimes. I dont care if the gate was made out of un-breakable steel, when he gets it in his head he wants on the other side he is going to get there. However, thank God he only gets like that once in a blue moon thus 3 gates LOL. I would recommend these gates and if you have a normal sized dog, one gate would last forever.
I love this gate... I have a dog who has discovered he can jump over baby gates. I'm in a position where i have to keep two dogs separate at all times. I needed a gate that was sturdy and tall enough where he can't jump over it. Its been installed for two weeks and it has been a blessing. I highly recommend this gate.
This is very sturdy and well made. Easy to install. The locking mechanism is easy to operate and closes automatically unless fully opened. The door was wide enough for my 6ft tall husband to pass through easily. Unfortunately, I apparently have high jump Olympian of a cat (8lbs) that was able to clear it from the floor. Consider a taller gate if you have an athletic cat.
Awesome gate to separate my cats from German Shepherd foster dogs that I am unsure of as far as "dog/cat" relations. Seems to be well built and sturdy. For extra protection I fastened the pressure feet to the wall studs, they have screw holes if you are so inclined. I wish the gate opening size was a few inches wider...All in all I think this is an outstanding product well worth the money to ensure the safety of my cats and dogs.
For the price and sturdiness, this gate is great! Customer service is excellent, had no difficulties getting in contact via email and their responses were within two business days.
The gate arrived quickly. There were extension pieces to achieve a few different widths. It was easy enough to install. This gate isn't cheap, but it feels very solid, the automatic closing is handy, and I do think that it will keep our blind cat that loves to climb contained. Thank you!
This is my second gate. It's very easy to install. Just be certain to measure properly. I didn't on the first one and had to add some wood blocks to make it work. It's also looks good and is easy to operate. Good quality product.
This 61" tall cat gate with narrow slats helps to acclimate my kittens with my other animals while keeping everyone separated. I really appreciate the "anti-stumble" Watch-the-Step Ramp as I've experienced tripping with baby gates before so I actually ordered an extra ramp and some of the "wall cups protectors" (4-pack). I used the extra ramp and the wall cups to reinforce a different brand of baby gate that I use to keep my entryway/"mud room" free of animals (one of my dogs likes to grab shoes and carry them around the house; plus I had a puppy that liked to chew on shoes). The Fairybaby gate seems very sturdy (and easy for me to open and close). I like that it has the optional side rails for ensuring that the openings on the ends aren't too wide for a kitten to slip through. My two kittens are currently about 11 weeks old now, and these slats are narrow enough to keep them contained.
I ordered the 61" gate so that my cat would be less likely to jump over it. The shipping method seems irrelevant, as it took almost a week for my order to even process and then ship. My order was then delayed and arrived an additional three days late (plus the extra week it took to finally ship). However, the product itself is great. I would recommend ordering from amazon, as opposed to Fairybaby directly, that way your order doesn't have to come all the way from China.
We needed an extra tall gate because our dog kept jumping over previous gates we had. The room we wanted to block also has a very wide entryway. This gate was one of very few I found that was not only tall enough, but also wide enough for our needs. We are very pleased with the sturdiness of the gate as well as the easy installation. We definitely recommend this gate!
We need to keep our two cats separated and our new gate really works best. Before, we were using a homemade gate that was difficult to maneuver and not secure. This one fits the bill. It’s purrfect.
Was a little tricky, figuring out how to put it together at first. But once you get the hang of it, it was pretty straightforward. The space that I put it up in the hallway fit perfectly just four of the screw on bolts, I couldn’t get on there. so some of the bars are a little wobbly, but not too much where Juno can go through. She doesn’t even try anyway. I do wish it was a little easier sometimes to open and close it as you have to pull up and either push or pull. I like that it’s tall enough and didn’t need any screws or bolts going into the drywall as I live in an apartment. Hoping that it lasts a long time it doesn’t become loose or falls, but it seems sturdy enough. Hoping that if anything does happen to it on its own, that the two year warranty will cover its replacement. Will update my review if anything changes.
It was a little tricky to figure out how to put together at first. But once you figured it out, it was pretty straightforward. It is tall enough and liked that it didn’t need many tools. Keeps my cat out, she doesn’t even try to get through or jump over. The only thing is, I’m hoping the hinges and door lasts a long time. As you have to pull up and either pull or push to open the door. Hinges have grease on them, which is good, but hoping that it doesn’t cause problems in the future. If anything happens to it or it malfunctions then I will update my review.
A quality gate that was very simple to fit and operate, looks good and the cats aren’t bothered by it being closed as they can see what is happening the other side. Cats intuitively hate closed doors where they cannot see into the room
This gate is perfect! I have been trying to find a secure way to separate our two cats before one of them gets injured. Easy to install and looks great.
This gate is perfect for what my family needs! Our cats are unable to squeeze through or jump over the gate. The support team is also very helpful and usually responds within 1-2 days. When the locking mechanism stopped functioning and was jammed inside of the gate door, the support team was extremely attentive and even sent a replacement door.
